About Allan

Allan was born here in Muncie and has very recently returned from 27 years in the Caribbean living on the Island of St Croix.

While there he worked as a cabinet maker while the island was rebuilding after Hurricane Hugo, later enjoyed a career as a jeweler and designer, and for the last few years has worked to attempt the subtle art of portrait painting. The faces represented in this showing reflect friends and neighbors from the small village of Frederikstead where he lived, many are neighbors met while working as a street artist while selling jewelry at the cruise ship pier, as well as the beginning of faces encountered here in Muncie.
